Digital Camera Cases & Carry Bags
Your camera case protects your camera and stores your extra batteries, memory, lenses, etc. When purchasing, ask yourself what type of photography will I do the most. If unsure, take a look at the camera you picked out. If it is slim and sleek, you will likely be content with a matching case in a neoprene sleave or simple grab and go case you can stuff in your pocket when not in use. Medium sized cameras might indicate a desire for a little extra storage space for additional batteries, memory, or a charger. Larger cameras require a larger bag, but unless this is your everyday point and shoot camera, you will likely need room for a pad of paper, extra memory, batteries, lenses, and maybe your backup point and shoot camera.
Underwater Cases for Digital Cameras
Very cool but camera specific and expensive, these cases are waterproof and allow you to take picture under water. These allow you to use most if not all of the functionality of your digital camera while underwater. If you enjoy snorkeling, take one of these along to bring back your underwater memories.
Vinyl Cases
Made with a built in lens window, these flexible cases fit multiple cameras and sizes. These cases are good for harsh environments and some can be submerged. They allow use of all camera controls and are less expensive than the rigid plastic underwater cases

Nylon Cases
This case material is the most common for its durability, adaptability, availability. Available in many sizes and colors, this is a good place to start if you want a good all-around case.
Neoprene Cases
These cases are also available in many colors. They are padded, form fitting, washable, and great if you want a sporty way to carry your camera. Be careful about “waterproof” claims. The material is waterproof, but water, sand and dust can get to your camera if you are not cautious.
